Washington D.C. (District of Columbia) (informally called Washington) is the capitol of the United States of America. It is located on the east coast of the country.
The Pentagon is just outside of Washington D.C. Many countries have their Ambassadors located in Washington. When the Soviet Union refused to pay a bribe to H.A.R.M. over the Khios incident, they threatened to go to their ambassador in Washington. The Director didn't think much of the threat.
Just before H.A.R.M. landed troops on Khios, Isaac Barnes had gotten off the phone from Washington. He reported that the Soviets were denying everything.
