In 1968 Nanda Devi Window Washers had cleaned the windows outside the H.A.R.M. India branch headquarters. They had not been paid the 47 Rupees for the task.
When Cate Archer was attempting to infiltrate the India branch, she found a letter from Nanda Devi Window Washers to H.A.R.M. comptroller Erin Keyes demanding payment. The company threatened to fling Monkey doo doo at the compound windows if the bill was not paid. Comptroller Keyes sent a letter to Anoop Banerjee asking him to resolve the matter by the usual methods. Banerjee then sent a threatening letter to the company. Archer then found a response from the Nanda Devi Window Washers stating that a "clerical error" and that they were willing to offer their services for free from now on.
