The Morris Model 14 Speargun was provided by Santa to Cate Archer at a UNITY training facility in West Germany. There she was able to practice with the SCUBA Diving gear and the speargun.
- Once this weapon has been introduced in H.A.R.M.'s Promise, the player can select this weapon before any mission.
While in the North Sea, Archer took a Morris Model 14 Speargun when she boarded the sunken Frieghter, Lorelei searching for the shipping manifest and the captain's log. Archer was able to fight off the Sharks with this type of weapon. While onboard she encountered divers from H.A.R.M. also armed with this type of speargun.
Later, Archer used this speargun as she infiltrated the H.A.R.M. Rocket facility at an island off the coast of Mandaru. The near silent weapon allowed her to use stealth while sneaking into the compound. Long distance shots are possible but aligning is hard, not recommended for targets on the move or up too close due to slow reload.
Trivia[]
- Like the Sportsman EX Crossbow and the Vindicator Sportsman's Crossbow, if a target is hit near a wall, it may pin that target to the wall.
- If shot to a target outside of water, the spear will break on impact, making it unable to be retrieved.
- One of the two weapons that has a projectile move in an arc instead of ignoring gravity completely.
