John Jack approaches the Moon on a Czechoslovakian rocket
The Moon is Earth's natural satellite. It can been seen at night in various locations on the planet.
While Cate Archer was infiltrating the H.A.R.M. Rocket Launch Facility on an island off the coast of Mandaru she went through the mission control center. On one of the monitors was a plan to launch a rocket to the Moon.
After a series of meteorites crashed into the H.A.R.M. Space Station, portions of the space station crashed on the surface of the Moon. Dr. Harij was the only survivor of this crash and built up a habitat on the Moon from the stations remains.
Somehow Danger Danger discovered that Dr. Harij had survived and raided a secret Czechoslovakian rocket facility to fly to the moon and rescue Dr. Harij. Luckily for Dr. Harij, John Jack had been sent by Dmitrij Volkov to discover what Danger Danger was up to and thwarted their plans.

- The primary events of The Operative: No One Lives Forever and Contract J.A.C.K. happen in the years 1967 and 68. The United States did not land on the Moon before 1969.
- In the Contract J.A.C.K. End Credits, the image for the Moon was credited to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
