A view of Le Chameau Heureux Hotel
Le Chameau Heureux Hotel is a hotel located in Marrakech, Morocco.
On September 16, 1967, UNITY agents Bruno Lawrie and Cate Archer were observing the Le Chameau Heureux Hotel to keep an eye over American Ambassador Morris Monroe. It was believed that Ambassador Monroe was being targeted for assassination by an organization calling itself H.A.R.M.
Archer was stationed on the second floor at an apartment complex across the street from Le Chameau Heureux. From this vantage point she was able to use her Hampton Carbine to pick off several snipers.
Besides Ambassador Monroe, there were several other American tourists staying at the Le Chameau Heureux. One tourist asked Monroe for the time, and the near-deaf ambassador believed he was asking for a dime. Archer could also over hear a couple talking about how foreign Morocco seemed to be compared to another foreign country like Canada.
