A laser rifle.
A Laser Rifle is an energy weapon used by John Jack and members of Danger Danger while fighting in the remains of the H.A.R.M. Space Station that crashed on the Moon.
The weapon used Cell charges for ammo with a magazine capacity of 30 units. It has an automated reload with its animation completely missing; tapping reload button will load its magazine in a blink. It also had a scope that allowed the player to zoom in on targets. The Laser Rifle was first introduced in the mission Lunar Psycho.
Jack had the Laser Rifle when he disembarked from his Rocket into the space station. It may have been standard equipment stored on the Czechoslovakian rocket.
When Il Pazzo destroyed the remains of the H.A.R.M. Space Station with massed C4 charges it blew Jack (who was wearing a Space Suit) into orbit around the moon instead of killing him. Enraged, Pazzo sent one of his thugs into space to kill Jack. Before the thug was able to complete this task, he was killed by a passing meteorite. This allowed Jack to grab the fallen thug's Laser Rifle and defend himself from the remaining thugs that were sent after him.
After Jack had crashed his rocket in Italy, he kept the Laser Rifle with him on his chase after Il Pazzo and the captured Dr. Harij.
