Kyoto is a large city in Japan about 318 miles from the capital city of Tokyo.
Isako found herself alone on the city streets of Kyoto after her parents had been murdered. She was found and taken in by a family that ran the Sakuragaoka Ninja Clan in the city. She remained with this clan until her capture by a devious merchant in the city who planned to put her to death. The Director asked the Merchant to spare Isako's life so that she may serve him.
