Inotakimura

The waterfall located at Inotakimura.

Inotakimura is a pastoral village located in Japan. The best tourist attractions are located on the east side of the village. There is a scenic waterfall on the opposite edge of the village. It is the primary location for several chapters in No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way.

Cate Archer has been sent to Inotakimura to photograph the participants at a rumored international crime convention. Isamu Hatori has been operating as a UNITY agent out of the sweet shop located within the village. Archer has to find him in order to complete her mission. Hatori guides her to the Fujioka estate where Archer is able to photograph The Director. Isako, The Director's head Ninja, was able to track down Archer and stab her before she escaped. Luckily the UNITY Intercept Team retrieves Archer and bring her back to Tokyo.

Since the intercept team was instructed to bring the wounded Archer to Tokyo, it is possible that Inotakimura is located very near the capitol city.

Archer later discovers that H.A.R.M. and the Katakuri Ninja Clan are using the Fujioka estate as an entrance to the H.A.R.M. Headquarters located under the town. The clan actually runs the village and can give orders to the residents including a curfew. Archer was able to escape the headquarters causing significant damage in the process. Just outside of the Fujioka estate, Isako confronts Archer once more. When she fails to kill Archer, The Director attempts to shoot her. Archer uses a Shuriken to prevent The Director from completing his action.
