The H.A.R.M. Bots (also called Robots) were built by the Robotics Department for use in high tech H.A.R.M. facilities like the H.A.R.M. Underwater Base and the H.A.R.M. Headquarters.
The H.A.R.M. Bots were equipped with a high powered Laser that quickly penetrates Body Armor. The bots also have scanners and two arm like claws on each side. They are not very fast moving on their treads and are unable to go up and down stairs. However their programing could not distinguish between enemy spies and Fish. Thus the bots were not allowed in the umbilical connecting sections of the H.A.R.M. Underwater Base.
J.P. Fenster had submitted design specifications for the H.A.R.M. Bots to be impervious to small arms fire and Explosives. Confucius Lee worked in the Robotics department and performed maintenance on the H.A.R.M. Bots. He often clashed with Fenster over the design of the bots. Hugo Madmiller also performed maintenance on the bots. Madmiller was tired of Keith Stevens comparing the H.A.R.M. Bots to the robots used by Muderlicious. Commander Pim discovered a inoperative bot on the crew deck. It appeared to have shorted itself out by jamming a fork into an electrical outlet. Lee responded that other bots had also committed suicide by electricity. Probably because they were not selected for Project: Omega.
While the H.A.R.M. Bots were invulnerable to guns and explosives, Cate Archer could use the Mascara Stun Gun to temporarily stop a bot. To destroy one, she had to use the electrical charge shot from the CT-180 Utility Launcher.
