NOLF2 Grenade

A standard grenade.

A Grenade (aka Frag) is a thrown weapon used by various combatants in different locations. It is an explosive contained in a small metal ball that fragments into deadly shrapnel when it goes off. It doesn't explode immediately, so it can be banked off of walls around corners where the target may be located.

No One Lives Forever[]

While serving as a Sapper in World War II, Sergent Magnus Armstrong was able to cripple a German supply train with nothing more than a shovel and a hand grenade. He was able to weaken the support strut for a bridge and when the heavy train reached the weakened section, it caused the bridge to collapse.

When Cate Archer challenged Armstrong to a fistfight in a bid to escape, Armstrong would throw grenades at her if she got too far him to use his fists.

Upon visiting the Baroness' chateau at Alps, Archer is greeted by three deadly assassiners called Elite Guards. They are able to toss a grenade if Archer were dare to peek shot at them then retreat back to cover.

Archer doesn't use regular hand grenades in NOLF1. Santa had developed the disguised Lipstick Explosive as a similar weapon.

No One Lives Forever 2[]

The grenade is a regular weapon used by Archer, the UNITY Intercept Team, the Soviet Army and H.A.R.M. thugs. There are also a variety of non-explosive grenades including Acid Gas Grenades, Flashbangs, Incendiary grenades, Laughing Gas Grenades, Sleeping Gas Grenades and Stun Grenades.

Contract J.A.C.K.[]

While John Jack was fighting the thugs from the Franco Syndicate, he overheard one of the thugs wanting to drop a hand grenade in Jack's car in order to sabotage it.

In Contract J.A.C.K., grenades are used by John Jack, the Franco Syndicate, H.A.R.M. thugs, members of the Czechoslovakian Army and thugs from Danger Danger.
