Gordon was one of the members of Club Metropole in Monte Carlo, Monaco. He enjoyed Cigars and drank Cognac. After the group smoked a batch of cigars from Havana, Cuba, Gordon challenged them to smoke some of his non-Cuban cigars. He stated that they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Carlisle and the other members turned it into a wager.
On September 19 at 5:00pm Gordon and the other members present at Club Metropole died when Maurice Albert exploded after being infected with Dr. Otto Schenker's Bio-Weapon formula.
