The Republic of France is a country in Europe. West Germany, Switzerland and Italy are located on the eastern border. Spain to the south and the English Channel is on the west.
France has an embassy in Santiago, Chile. In 1967 a UNITY agent had broken into this embassy, only to be attacked and killed by Dmitrij Volkov.
Bruno Lawrie had just returned from a mission in France while Volkov was killing various UNITY agents.
