NOLF2 Parachute

Archer arrives to Khios by parachute.

A Parachute is a device used to slow the decent of a person or item from large heights. This equipment is usually used after jumping out of an airplane.

No One Lives Forever[]

While escorting Dr. Otto Schenker on a flight from Berlin to London, the airplane that Cate Archer is using is ambushed by Magnus Armstrong and H.A.R.M. Paratroopers. Because of the damage incurred by the airplane that Archer and Schenker were using, it started to break apart in flight. Archer was thrown from the plane along with a paratrooper. Archer had to fight off additional paratroopers while trying to catch up with the paratrooper below her in order to "borrow" his parachute.

While discussing the infiltration options that Archer could use to get inside the Dumas Towers, Archer asked if she could parachute onto the top of the tower. Mr. Smith reported that using a parachute would be too imprecise.

When Dr. Schenker was shocked to see Archer alive after he had seen her thrown out of the airplane, Archer replied "A nice chap lent me a parachute on the way down."

No One Lives Forever 2[]

The UNITY Intercept Team used parachutes to land in Siberia just outside of the Soviet Army base that contained the M-9 Data Processing Unit. Unfortunately they all landed in different locations and had to re-group at a nearby cabin. Equipment had also been airdropped in by parachutes for the team to gather.

When Archer arrived at Khios by airplane, she used a parachute to land on the island. This landing was observed by Armstrong. He then provided Archer with a CT-180 Utility Launcher and informed her that the Anti-Super Soldier Serum was being airdropped by parachute soon.
