"Tom Goodman" and Cate Archer on a boat in the North Sea
A Boat is a small water craft used to transport people or for Fishing. It is smaller than a Freighter. A luxury boat is called a Yacht.
After the Freighter Lorelei sank into the North Sea, Tom Goodman discovered that Cate Archer was unable to retrieve the Captain's Log and the Shipping Manifest. Needing those items, Goodman obtained a Boat to take them to the location over the sunken freighter. Using a Beacon, Archer was able to use SCUBA Diving gear to find the freighter.
When Archer return to the Boat with the two items, she reported to Goodman that she had been ambushed by H.A.R.M. divers. On the boat, Goodman stated that he didn't see anything from the surface.
While infiltrating a Soviet Army base in Siberia, Archer found some memos about a Soviet spy under the code name of ANATOLI. He had submitted an expense report for some of his cover items while living in Palm Beach, Florida. One of the items included a Yacht just in case he needed to escape from the United States.
