The Black Sea is a large body of water that separates portions of Europe with portions of Asia. It is located just north of the Sea of Marmara and one of the rivers that feeds it is the Dnieper River. In the 1960's the two countries that had shores on the Black Sea was the Soviet Union and Turkey. The Turkish city of Istanbul sits between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara.
While infiltrating a Soviet Army base located in Siberia, Cate Archer discovered an intelligence item with a Soviet report. In it the Soviets feared that the United States would use Sharks to deliver bombs to Moscow by swimming into the Black Sea and up the Dnieper River.
