Avengers (Formally The Avengers) was a television series that aired from 1961 to 1969. One of the stars of the show was actress Diana Rigg.

In a Dumas Industrial Enterprises facility Cate Archer overheard a conversation where one employee was telling the other about an unusual episode of The Avengers. It had to do with a Venusian society. The two employees then talked about the physical attractiveness of Diana Rigg who starred in the episode.

While infiltrating the Dumas Towers in England, Archer overheard two H.A.R.M. guards talking about how they liked Avengers. They then started talking about some of their other favorite spy movies and television shows.

This conversation was a tip of the hat to the 60's Spy-Fi era that influenced The Operative: No One Lives Forever.
