Asia is a continent on Earth that makes up the eastern half of the Eurasia landmass. The continent of Europe is located to the west. Africa is just to the south-west of Asia. The continent of Australia is found just to the south-east of Asia.

Lake Baikal is located in the Asian section of the Soviet Union.

Several World War II battles between forces Empire of Japan and Allies happened in Asia.

In 1944, Nikolai Zhukov was involved in the relocation of the Chechen people to central Asia.

According to the papers, Baron Archibald Dumas was known to have hunted in Southeast Asia. However it is not known if he actually made it to that part of the world on his "adventures".
