Africa is continent on Earth just south of the Mediterranean Sea. The continent of Europe is to the north of the Mediterranean Sea and Asia is located to the east of Africa.

The Sahara Desert stretches across most of northern Africa.

A portion of World War II was fought in northern Africa.

According to the papers, Baron Archibald Dumas was known to have hunted in Africa. However it is not known if he actually made it to that part of the world on his "adventures".
